Large Six Magnetron Production Systems

A range of six magnetron systems, based around the proven four magnetron design, have been developed to enable faster and larger scale deposition of the low friction MoST and Graphit-iC coatings. The six magnetron systems incorporate the patented closed field unbalanced magnetron arrangement. The systems have all of the same features as the standard four magnetron systems and are available in a range of sizes.

• doubled deposition rate compared with 4 magnetron systems
• increased volume of components can be coated in one cycle

  Chamber diameter 800mm, chamber height 650mm, target size 380×175mm
• UDP850/6
  Chamber diameter 850mm, chamber height 1000mm, target size 725×175mm
• UDP1100/6
  Chamber diameter 850mm, chamber height 1200mm, target size 900×175mm
