This system is installed at Welwyn Components Ltd

System for coating onto large number of very small items using a technique of sputtering downwards.

This system was designed to meet a specific customer requirement and is presently in use at Teer Coatings Ltd. The requirement was for coating on one side of very small items, which could not be jigged using the standard method. Removing one of the standard magnetrons and replacing this with five magnetrons for downwards sputtering enabled this system to be used for rapid coating onto thousands of the customer’s parts per run. This system can also be used in the standard configuration.

Ion assisted and electron beam deposition systems for optical coatings, installed into clean room conditions.

Very large six magnetron system for rapid deposition of low friction coatings.

This system, incorporating the patentaed closed field system, was designed specifically for high production deposition of the solid lubricant coatings MoST and Graphit-iC. The chamber is 1355mm high and 910mm in diameter, which houses the six magnetrons, each 900mm long and 175mm wide, and has customer specified pumping.
