Teer Coatings Ltd operates a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), which has been certified to the requirements of the ISO:9001 and ISO14001 standards.

The company first achieved certification of its Production Coatings operation to ISO 9002:1994 in January 2002, and the scope of the system was later expanded to include the company’s Equipment Building and other operations in July 2003, when certification was achieved to ISO 9001:2000.

The Company has also obtained specific customer approvals and works with its customers and suppliers to ensure that the QMS continues to meet or exceed their current and future requirements.

Statement of Quality Policy

The Company is dedicated to the provision of high-quality products and services that fully meet the customer and applicable regulatory requirements consistently.

The Company is committed to a policy of ‘Right First Time’ and to a policy of continual improvement in the quality of products and services, and of the Quality System itself. It is a prime requirement of this approach to quality that each person recognises and accepts the Company philosophy and accepts the responsibility for the quality of his/her own operations.

Through the effective application of the quality system we will seek to address all aspects of customer satisfaction and expectations by the application of operational monitoring and the prevention of nonconformity. Objectives relevant to the organisational goals, customers’ needs and expectations will be established, monitored and reviewed and will be circulated to all Company employees.

All operations will conform to the quality management system requirements of ISO 9001 and 14001.

Scope of Certification

• The Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) of a metallic, ceramic or polymeric material onto metallic, ceramic or polymeric substrate.

• Design, development and manufacture of PVD equipment.
